Netflix started in 1997 as an online DVD rental, it has evolved into being the most popular video-streaming service in the world. Netflix has a database with thousands of films, TV series, documentaries etc. In July 2015, Netflix reported its subscriber count reached 65.55 million, with 42.3 million in the U.S. and 23.35 million internationally.

Reddit (2005)


Reddit is a source for what's new and popular on the Internet. Reddit is made up of many individual communities, also known as "subreddits". Each community has its own page, subject matter, users and moderators. Users post stories, links, and media to these communities, and other users vote and comment on the posts. Through voting, users determine what posts rise to the top of community pages and, by extension, the public home page of the site.
Founded by University of Virginia roommates Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian in 2005.

YouTube is a video-sharing website headquartered in San Bruno, California, United States. The service was created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005. In November 2006, it was bought by Google for US$1.65 billion. YouTube now operates as one of Google's subsidiaries. The site allows users to upload, view, and share videos, and it uses HTML5 to play its videos, after it was changed from Adobe Flash in 2015. Available content includes video clips, TV clips, music videos, and other content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos.
Most of the content on YouTube has been uploaded by individuals, but media corporations including CBS, the BBC, Vevo, Hulu, and other organizations offer some of their material via YouTube.
YouTubers, sometimes referred to as YouTube personalities or YouTube celebrities are a class of internet celebrity who are popular because of their videos on the video-sharing website YouTube.

The service is available on a wide range of devices, including mobile phones and tablets, personal computers, and smart televisions. With more than 50 million users registered on Dropbox, it is one of the most popular and widely used file hosting website.
